Parmenter Food Pantry

The Parmenter Food Pantry is a long-standing volunteer organization that distributes grocery items to residents of Wayland regardless of reason for the need. A simple enrollment form and proof of residency is all that are required.

The Food Pantry is open one day each month from 9 AM — 11:30 AM at Parmenter Community Health Care’s main office at 266 Cochituate Road in Wayland. Click here for Directions to Parmenter Community Health Care.

We are always looking for donations of cash and time for the Food Pantry.  Cash allows us to purchase fresh and frozen meat and produce for our clients.  Your time is valuable and helps us make fast work of the food sorting that needs to be done on distribution days.

Donations

We gladly accept donations of non-perishable food items as well as non-food items.  Non-perishable donations may be dropped off at Parmenter Community Health Care's main office Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., or at one of the Local Community Donation Sites.

 

Cash donations are used to purchase fresh meats, fruits and vegetables, juice and other items that are in short supply. Please make your tax-deductible donation payable to the Parmenter Food Pantry. Checks may be sent to Parmenter Community Health Care, 266 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778.

Volunteers Needed

If you would like to volunteer — delivering groceries to shut-ins, organizing canned goods, working with us on Food Pantry Day — please leave a message for our volunteer Food Pantry Coordinator at 508-358-3000.
